32A. So little possess, heart breaks, if anything I loss

      [অল্প লইয়া থাকি তাই মোর যাহা যায় তাহা যায় -]

      

অল্প লইয়া থাকি, তাই মোর

Whatever little I have, hence from that-

যাহা যায় তাহা যায়।

Whatever goes, is a great loss that do hurt.

কণাটুকু যদি হারায় তা লয়ে

May it be an atom or it’s particle,

প্রাণ করে "হায় হায়' ॥

My soul  does cry  and wail.

The river beds and banks, try to uselessly,

প্রবাহ আঁকড়ি রাখিবারে চাই,

To prevent or hold back water floating forcively.

 একে একে বুকে আঘাত করিয়া

Thus  only by blowing a knock on the heart,

ঢেউগুলি কোথা ধায় ॥

The waves and currents flee away apart.

যাহা যায় আর যাহা-কিছু থাকে

Whatever goes away and whatever remains

সব যদি দিই সঁপিয়া তোমাকে

If I give out to you for safe keeping,

There nothing lost, everything survives

তবে নাহি ক্ষয়, সবই জেগে রয়

In thy great grace in thy Universe.

তব মহা মহিমায়।

তোমাতে রয়েছে কত শশী ভানু,

In thy creation, stars and planets endless,

হারায় না কভু অণু পরমাণু,

None is lost, not even atom and articles;

 আমারই ক্ষুদ্র হারাধনগুলি

Why then not my small articles, indeed-

রবে না কি তব পায় ॥

Shall not remain safe at thy feet.
